We're always happy to meet new friends! Often, your first visit is for a new patient exam. During this visit, we'll take the time to learn your likes and dislikes regarding past dental care, and carefully review your medical history. The doctor will examine your teeth, check for periodontal (gum) disease, check for jaw joint (TMJ) problems, screen for oral cancer, take x-rays and photos, clean your teeth, polish your teeth and give you a fluoride treatment. This is a very thorough exam and it will last well over an hour.
